We’re beyond excited to invite you on an unforgettable 15-day journey through Uganda and Rwanda, from 1–15 September 2026, to witness Great Ape Conservation in action.
Together, we’re creating an opportunity for women and non-binary people in biology, ecology, conservation, and related fields to gain practical, hands-on experience in the heart of one of the most biodiverse places on Earth: the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve (INPA), on the edge of Manaus, Brazil.

What to Expect:
Practical training in ecological sampling across birds, mammals (including bats), invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and plants
Fieldwork with mist nets, camera traps, acoustic recorders, and more
Species identification with live and preserved specimens
Work alongside expert biologists and PPG-Ecology monitors
Contribute to real research that makes a difference
