WIW x Wilde Tracks: WildeCapture Veterinary Conservation Mission

We’re excited to announce our next Wilde Tracks x Women in Wildlife adventure: WildeCapture, a 7-day wildlife veterinary and conservation mission in South Africa, running 30 May – 5 June 2027.

This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience alongside an experienced wildlife veterinarian and professional game capture team. Throughout the mission, participants may take part in practical training and conservation activities including darting techniques, game captures, wildlife monitoring, DNA sampling, predator collaring and, where required, veterinary interventions such as rhino dehorning.

You don’t need any qualifications or previous experience to join! The mission is open to anyone aged 18+ with a passion for wildlife and conservation, making it a fantastic opportunity for students, aspiring conservationists, wildlife enthusiasts and those already working in veterinary or animal care.

What makes this trip different?

Your travel directly helps fund conservation work. Wilde Tracks uses revenue from its trips to support wildlife veterinary interventions, monitoring, tracking, research and other conservation initiatives.
